The Jefferson County Veterinary Medical Association is a non-profit association of veterinarians located in central Alabama. The objects and purposes are to advance the science and art of Veterinary Medicine and, by so doing, to protect and improve the health of the resident and animals of Jefferson County and the State of Alabama. By way of monthly meetings and annual conferences, we provide the membership with quality continuing education to improve the health care for the animals and human residents in the local area and increase the public awareness of problems concerning animal health and disease control.
As an active association in central Alabama, we strive to be involved in local, state and national veterinary organizations and to keep our members aware of the current issues that involve the practice of veterinary medicine.
